Jennifer Weston received her Bachelor of Science from Brandeis University and her Masters and Ph.D. in Astronomy from Columbia University. Her research there focused on using radio imaging of accreting white dwarf binary stars to study their evolution and ejecta. She received the Robert L. Brown Outstanding Doctoral Dissertation Award from the National Radio Astronomical Observatory for this work. After graduation, Jennifer continued her research as a Postdoctoral Research at Green Bank Observatory in West Virginia, as well as taking part in telescope operations and support. She is currently a AAAS Science & Technology Policy Fellow, hosted at the National Science Foundation in the Directorate for Computer and Information Science and Engineering.
