Jenny Lindvall to Support Mission to Inspire and Develop Diverse STEM Students in Baltimore City Public Schools
Sparks, M.D. – BD (Becton, Dickinson and Company) (NYSE: BDX), a leading global medical technology company, and the Ingenuity Project, a nonprofit community organization, today announced that Jenny Lindvall, business process excellence project manager for BD Integrated Diagnostic Solutions (IDS), will join the Ingenuity Project Board of Directors.
As a member of the Board of Directors, Lindvall will help support Ingenuity’s middle school advanced STEM programs at Hamilton, Mount Royal, Roland Park, and James McHenry, as well as its advanced program at Baltimore Polytechnic Institute. Lindvall will also work with Ingenuity’s Innovation Practicum to coordinate engagement between students and BD mentors to gain hands-on experience in STEM-related fields.

At BD, Lindvall is responsible for managing a portfolio of transformational and continuous improvement projects strongly aligned with IDS business priorities. Working closely with the Business Process Data Science & Digital Technology team, Lindvall facilitates the delivery of business solutions by designing project governance structures, deploying effective communication cadences and actively collaborating with project teams to deliver measurable business impact.
“As a graduate of the Eleanor Roosevelt High School Science and Technology Program in Greenbelt, Maryland, I naturally align with and was eager to support the Ingenuity Project,” said Lindvall. “BD has been part of the Maryland community for nearly 70 years and I’m excited about the Ingenuity mission to prepare and launch the next diverse generation of nationally competitive STEM leaders from Baltimore City Public Schools.”

The Ingenuity Project (a 501C3 nonprofit) has worked in collaboration with the Baltimore City Public School System since 1992 to provide students in grades 6-12 with a free, advanced, and challenging math, science, and off-campus STEM research program.
