In order to expose more kids to advanced mathematics, and to show them that math can be fun, we developed a 6-week team competition where students train with coaches for a city wide game-based math competition. Baltimore Math Challenge, the final competition, will be held on December 1, 2018 at Baltimore Polytechnic Institute, where teams will play fast-paced games of ‘Mathopoly’ in a bracket style tournament.
