Ingenuity recognizes the issue that women are vastly underrepresented in the STEM workforce, which is impacting growth and expansion of STEM employment in the United States.

The Innovators’ Tea Party is an event that brings female high school students and professional women in STEM careers together to encourage education, inspiration, and connection. The goal is for students to speak to female professionals in a STEM careers in order to peak interest in pursuing degrees in STEM areas. Girls and role models will be matched up by student job field interest for lunch.The event is being held at the Brown Advisory meeting space in Baltimore and consists of lunch, tea, and a panel discussion on the topic: The Importance of Women in STEM.
