BALTIMORE – This past March 15, 2025, the Morgan State University Science, Mathematics, and Engineering Fair showcased the innovative talent of students from across Maryland. Among them, the scholars from the Ingenuity Project made a stellar impact, securing numerous awards and distinctions while embodying academic excellence and the passion for discovery.
With projects spanning a variety of STEM disciplines, Ingenuity students collectively earned:

- 5 Honorable Mentions
Beyond the awards, what stands out most is the quality and ingenuity of the projects that secured top recognition. Congratulations to all who participated and represented the mission of fostering scientific discovery with brilliance.
High School Award Highlights
- Anis Ahmed, a senior from Poly, earned 1st Place in Mathematics & Computer Science for his ground-breaking research.
- Vasyl Dail, a 9th grader from Poly, achieved 3rd Place in Engineering, while Zaina Shah, also a freshman at Poly, secured 3rd Place in Biological Science.
Middle School Award Highlights
From Mount Royal to Roland Park, Middle School Ingenuity scholars brought their “A” game:
- Rosetta G., a 6th grader from Mount Royal, won 1st Place in Biological Science, showcasing her dedication and creative thinking.
- Abel B., another Mount Royal 6th grader, claimed 2nd Place in Physical Science, while Henry B., a 7th grader from Roland Park, took 3rd Place in the same category.
- Andrew B., an 8th grader from Roland Park, brought home 3rd Place in Engineering.
Additional honorable mentions were awarded to Alexandra L., Kieran C., Emmanuel S., and others who demonstrated promise across key STEM categories.
