Nestled among some of Baltimore’s most prestigious private schools, Roland Park Elementary/Middle School more than holds its own. This kindergarten-through-eighth-grade public school serves a highly diverse population and ranks among the top schools in Maryland in academic achievement. Roland Park students have maintained over a decade of continuous improvement on state assessments and consistently score at the top 25% on national achievement tests at all grade levels.
The school has earned a Blue Ribbon for Academic Excellence from the Maryland State Department of Education, and it has received state-wide acclaim for its commitment to integrating the arts into the school’s curriculum. The school is widely considered a crown jewel in Maryland and plays an important leadership role in Baltimore’s public and private school community. Roland Park also works with Maryland Institute College of Art and Goucher College. Each year, pre-service teachers (interns) from both schools work alongside our faculty.
