Mount Royal Elementary/Middle School, located in Bolton Hill, is a public, uniformed school, serving children from Kindergarten through grade eight.
The atmosphere for learning that permeates throughout the building is supported by a collaborative decision-making model and an interdisciplinary curriculum. Mount Royal is a designated BCPSS Gifted and Talented/Arts Integration School as well as a center for the Ingenuity Project. Faculty, staff, community leaders, students, and parents work together to make our motto – “A School with a Passion for Excellence” – a reality.
Mount Royal partners with MICA (Maryland Institute College of Art), Brown Memorial Presbyterian Church, Maryland General Hospital, University of Baltimore, Believe in Our Schools (Mayor’s Office of Baltimore City), BPEL (Baltimore Partners for Enhance Learning), Middle School Partnerships, and Baltimore Orioles.
