Angela Venza is Director of International Grantmaking for Price Philanthropies and PriceSmart Foundation. PriceSmart is the largest operator of membership warehouse shopping clubs (like Costco) in Central America, the Caribbean, and Colombia. In this role, Angie leads a grant portfolio focused on supporting local nonprofit organizations that advance education, youth development, and economic opportunity in the countries where PriceSmart operates.
Prior to her role at PriceSmart, Angie spent eleven years at International Youth Foundation (IYF), serving as Regional Director for the Americas (U.S. and Latin America) among other roles, leading education, career readiness, and youth empowerment programming. Across a 30+ year career, she has worked as a consultant and staff member for nonprofits and private companies in the U.S. and Latin America in youth programming and poverty alleviation, nonprofit management, public-private partnership development, and organizational capacity building. Angie received her Master in Public Affairs (MPA) from Princeton University’s School of Public and International Affairs and her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Georgetown University.
