Nick came to The Ingenuity Project through his position as a biology teacher at Baltimore Polytechnic Institute, where he taught for 13 years. He earned a Master of Arts in Teaching Secondary Science while a participant in the Baltimore City Teaching Residency. He also completed a bachelor’s degree in Microbial Biotechnology from Rutgers University. Since leaving Poly Nick has held several roles with Ingenuity, including teaching technology at Mount Royal Elementary/Middle school and assisting Ingenuity’s research practicum at Poly. He currently manages Ingenuity’s student and applicant data systems and coordinates math outreach for potential applicants and middle school students.
