Regina is a math teacher at Hamilton Elementary Middle School. She has been teaching 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students at Hamilton with the Ingenuity Project in 2011. Prior to teaching in Baltimore City, Regina taught 9th through 12th grade math in Northeast Philadelphia.
She is originally from outside the Philadelphia area, but came to Baltimore to attend college at Loyola University Maryland. She graduated from Loyola with her Bachelors of Science in Mathematics and Secondary Education. Regina is pursuing her Masters in Leadership in Teaching at Notre Dame of Maryland University for Mathematics Instructional Leadership.
Regina firmly believes in being there for the whole student! While developing a sound foundation and understanding, and ideally love for math, she also strives to bring out the best in each child. She works to prepare all her students to be well-rounded and remain positive, determined to succeed, and dedicated to reach their fullest potential and goals! When not spending time at school, she often likes to go hiking or kayaking, relax on the beach, and travel to new and different places with her husband and family; but most of all, she enjoys all the home-cooked Italian food with family gatherings!
